Rustica Gift Visits Ambelonas Winery of Corfu, Greece
What a vivid, delicious and extraordinarily hospital introduction to the sustainable viniculture, food and history. While we were on the artisan pottery and handcraft hunt among Corfu, Greece's richly talented artistic community, we couldn't resist a visit to this beautiful and historic winery. Although the tradition of Mexico's Talavera pottery is much beloved by us, we know there is a world of history and tradition to be explored, and we can't wait to share!
Although it was off season, the owners graciously allowed us to visit, so we had the privilege of visiting Corfu's oldest winery, founded in the 16th century by the Venetian descendants of today's owners.

It was an extraordinary visit, and the hospitality, wine and food was as stunning as the view as Corfu, Greece's iconic Ambelonas Vineyard and Winery.
