Hand-hammered beauty, painstakingly etched by hand, lined with velvet, and set with a treasure-hunter's delight in unique and hand-polished stones. This one features a polished white onyx cabochon, but many of these, all created by our newest artesana, Ruth Cortez of San Miguel de Allende, feature stones hand-picked by her for beauty and character.
No two are exactly alike, and these crafted treasure boxes (ok, they are very practical too, jewelry boxes, men's valets, keepsake holders, curio and trinket boxes, special occasion commemorative gifts, the sky is the limit) are created slowly in beautiful colonial Mexico for you to treasure.
The boxes themselves are made of Alpaca Silver, a unique blend of nickel silver, copper and zinc that is durable, lustrous and will never tarnish.
